
JA Wright earned a Master’s degree in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Frostburg State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Information Technology Program Management from National Defense University. An active member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, she balances her passion for writing with a career in Information Technology program management. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, boating, and playing frisbee with her hyper border collie. A lifelong Marylander, she grew up along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and continues to live in Maryland with her fiancé, son, and crazy dog. Her short stories have appeared in The Washington Post. Charcuterie Girl is her debut novel.
